Every day, The Club at Ibis offers champion-ship golf on one of three Nicklaus-family-designed courses (that’s 54 holes of golf!), plus an abundance of high-end amenities including Har-Tru hydrogrid tennis courts, pickleball courts, an innovative fitness center, resort-style pool and lap pool, and relaxing spa facilities. All of which has led Ibis to be voted the No. 1 Country Club and the best golf course in The Palm Beach Post’s prestigious “Best of Palm Beach County” awards. Ibis has succeeded because it is committed to investing in the club and ensuring that it retains its appeal to every generation of its 1,700-strong membership: $60 million in capital improvements over the past seven years is proof of that.

For many golfers, the quality of the practice facilities is nearly as important as the quality of a club’s course. Ibis has invested wisely in their practice facility to ensure it is second to none. The club has long had one of the top instructors in golf in Martin Hall. Last year, the high-end private club unveiled a cutting-edge range that includes TopTracer technology, digital yardages, synthetic turf target greens, four new USGA-spec chipping greens, and—get this—robots to pick up range balls and cut the grass.

Culinary offerings are an important part of life at Ibis. This year, the club renovated its poolside dining venue creating an Italian restaurant, Amici. But more than simply restyling the venue, 35 staff were recruited from Italy, including an entire culinary team that along with authentic cuisine will offer wine tastings and other special treats for members.

Ibis had another strong year in membership sales thanks to offering the right real estate options to attract a wide range of buyers. It’s easy to believe—after looking at the lush landscaping, royal palm-lined boulevards, luxurious homes, and dazzling amenities—that this club is for only the well-to-do.
