Who says real men don’t like pink? Don’t tell that to Bubba Watson, who has become almost as famous for his hot-pink driver as for his prodigious talent wielding it.
Ping, Watson’s clubmaker, will sell 6,000 limited-edition pink G drivers and donate $60 from each sale to the Bubba Watson Foundation. The pink driver made its debut in 2012, the year Watson won his first Masters, and since then Ping has donated more than $1 million from their sale to various charities dedicated to children’s health.
This year, the adjustable driver—available in a choice of lofts, shafts, and both right- and left-handed—also comes with a Bubba headcover for $650 through authorized Ping retailers around the world.
