PGA Hawaii Swing Kicks Off in Maui

While most of the country is under snow and ice, making golf a dream still months away, the PGA Tour says Aloha to the 2017 calendar year by resuming its wraparound season in Hawaii.

For the next two weeks, the Tour will take part in the PGA Hawaii swing, beginning this week with the SBS Tournament of Champions in Maui before moving to Honolulu next week for the Sony Open in Hawaii.

Events in Hawaii also means primetime golf for the majority of the country. With TV coverage getting under way at 6pm Thursday and Friday there will be plenty of opportunity to watch live golf over the next two weeks, even if you can’t get out and play yourself.

The Tournament of Champions will feature the likes of Dustin Johnson, Jordan Spieth, Bubba Watson, Justin Thomas and all the winners from the 2015-2016 PGA Tour season.

So, sit back, relax, and enjoy some primetime golf from the Aloha state for the next two weeks before they make their way back to mainland.
