With a 5-star oceanfront hotel and private luxury residential club coming to its spectacular landscape, this luxury resort community is breaking new ground in Cabo
One of Mexico’s finest luxury resort communities is taking major steps toward fulfilling its vision of being the best of the best. Situated at the southern tip of the Baja Peninsula along a two-mile stretch of pristine beach, Quivira is a paradise of elegance and serenity. This exclusive 1,850-acre hideaway is just three minutes from downtown Cabo San Lucas and only 30 minutes from the Los Cabos international airport. Now, having sold more than $100 million in real estate since 2002, they are adding a layer of exclusive private ownership that will cement their position at the top end of the Cabo market.
“The Coppel family is used to breaking new ground,” says Ernesto Coppel, Quivira’s president and developer, who was a pioneer in making Cabo what it is today. “First, with our innovative Pueblo Bonito brand. And today, we are breaking new ground and elevating Los Cabos’s hospitality and residential offerings with the addition of the first St. Regis Resort in Los Cabos and with our private luxury residential property, Old Lighthouse Club.”
An incredible stretch of oceanfront has been dedicated to the St. Regis Hotel, a five-star branded resort. Slated to open in mid-2021, The St. Regis Los Cabos at Quivira will be comprised of an exclusive 120-room luxury beachfront hotel and 77 residences. Guest rooms will feature ocean views and the world renowned St. Regis Butler Service.
Beautiful as the hotel’s setting is, the Coppel family saved one of its finest pieces of property for the Old Lighthouse Club, an untouched hillside surrounded by multiple oceanside golf holes. The lighthouse, at the tip of the Baja Peninsula where the Sea of Cortez and Pacific Ocean meet, was built in 1905 and sits above the iconic 6th green of the Nicklaus-designed Quivira Golf Club.
Old Lighthouse Club will offer a dining club and family activity center to complement the existing restaurants, spas, and other amenities already in place. Quivira Golf Club, voted to Golf Digest’s roster of the “World’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses,” will be another option for buyers. Expect most of the offerings at Old Lighthouse Club to be homesites, with some pre-designed home plans also available.
