Jimmy Buffet-inspired Community Coming to Daytona Beach

Latitude Margaritaville, inspired by scenes like above, has broken ground in Daytona Beach

This sounds like a whole lot of fun.

Margaritaville Holdings and Minto are partnering to develop a residential community in Daytona Beach inspired by Jimmy Buffet’s global brand, Margaritaville. They have already broken ground and aim at opening this fall. For Parrotheads, Latitude Margaritaville could be their new nirvana.

The community will reflect Margaritaville’s, “no worries,” tropical vibe. Current plans call for walkable neighborhoods and a Town Center featuring a fitness center with an aerobics studio, indoor lap pool, spa, and group fitness classes; indoor and outdoor dining with signature Margaritaville food and beverage concepts, as well as others; arts and learning programs for residents and guests; and a resort pool area with beach entry.

And of course, music will also play an important part in the community, with a band shell for live entertainment in the Town Center. A private beachfront club on the Atlantic Ocean will be accessible via a continuous loop shuttle service.

There’s no golf course, but the location at LPGA Blvd. and I-95 means residents won’t have to go far to play a round. If they can pry themselves away.
