Located about 30 minutes north of the Broadmoor and sharing similar foothill terrain with fast, sloping greens, the Robert Trent Jones Sr.-designed Blue is regarded as perhaps the best military course in the country. A painting of the namesake president and golf nut christening the 36-hole facility in 1963 with a drive on Blue’s first hole hangs in the pro shop.
