Sure, it’s a cliché—everything’s bigger in Texas.
But at Cordillera Ranch in the Texas Hill Country they’re racking up some pretty impressive sales numbers. For the second year in a row, the luxury community eclipsed more than $100 million in real estate activity.
Everything is big here, though. Cordillera Ranch is set on 8,700 acres and offers estate homesites that can top 10 acres. And as far as its golf course goes, there’s no bigger name in course design: Jack Nicklaus. The par-3 16th, with a green framed by cascading waterfalls, has been ranked the most beautiful hole in Texas for five straight years.
All in all, it was a banner year for real estate at Cordillera Ranch. Homesite and home sales volume rose 20% from prior year; the average re-sale home price rose 20%; and home inventory reached its lowest levels in 11 years.
Still, opportunity knocks. Development of the first phase of The Springs of Cordillera Ranch, the community’s newest neighborhood, is nearing completion with homesites now available. The 3/4 to three-plus acre homesites include massive oak trees, scenic valley views and Cypress-lined creek frontage properties.
That’s big news for anyone looking to get in on the good life, just 30 minutes northwest of San Antonio.
