Beau Rivage Resort & Casino
877-805-4657, BeauRivage.com

The Beau Rivage Resort & Casino seamlessly blends the “wow” factor of Las Vegas with traditional, down-home Southern hospitality. An MGM Mirage resort situated on Mississippi’s gulf coast in the town of Biloxi, the Beau Rivage epitomizes luxury with a flair for the fantastic. Entertainment at the resort isn’t restricted to lounge acts. Names like Jay Leno, Merle Haggard and Liza Minnelli are scheduled headliners for this summer. Of course no trip to a high-end casino is complete without visits to the gaming tables, and the Beau Rivage has it all. Blackjack, roulette, poker—whatever your game, you can find it here. Additional amenities include the spa and fitness center, a selection of fine boutiques, theater and nightclub. While dining options run the gamut from casual to fine, it’s the high-end restaurants such as Todd English’s Olives that are truly outstanding. Perhaps the greatest perk of staying at the Beau Rivage is its golf course. Fallen Oak is especially exclusive, as it’s only open to resort guests.

The Beau Rivage’s Fallen Oak golf course is nestled on a 510-acre tract at the edge of the DeSoto National Forest. The embodiment of the south’s most distinctive characteristics—wetlands, stately oaks, pecan orchards and magnolia groves—this 18-hole course should not be missed. Fallen Oak was designed by legendary course architect Tom Fazio, and his keen eye for fairway sculpture and impressive aesthetic charms can be felt everywhere. Dramatic elevation changes unique to this region can be found throughout the greens, especially on the 18th hole. With sweeping views of the bunker-heavy par 4 as well as the clubhouse in the distance, the course’s namesake oak highlight the various tees’ astounding elevation. Fallen Oak stretches to a healthy 7,487 yards from the back tees and presents a challenging but unforgettable round for any golfer.
