The accolades are pouring in for Streamsong, the new Central Florida golf resort with two exceptional golf courses by Tom Doak and the team of Ben Crenshaw and Bill Coore. Already, GOLF Magazine has included both courses in its Best New Courses. Here at LINKS Magazine we reported last month that Streamsong is even better than its advance notices.
With everyone agreeing that this is an incredible golf experience that should be on everyone’s must-play list, it’s time to get yourself to the Streamsong Resort. Tee times are available.
There are three different ways to get on the course. Book a tee time, a Day Play Package, or a Stay & Play Package. All three options are easily booked online at StreamsongResort.com or by calling (863) 354-6980.
If you live in Florida, or find yourself there on vacation, the drive from Tampa (47 miles), Orlando (84 miles), or Sarasota (67 miles) to Streamsong’s location south of Lakeland is easy enough. Suffice to say, it’s worth the drive. If you are traveling from farther away, you may want to consider staying overnight.
Right now, accommodations are limited at the resort. The clubhouse sleeps just 16. (A 216-room luxurious lodge is scheduled to open this fall.) But there are plenty of options in Lakeland, and the resort’s staff will assist you in booking a room.
Our suggestion is to book as soon as possible. There’s no doubt that as word spreads, Streamsong’s tee times are going to fill very quickly.
Golf’s most praised new destination offers two incredible courses, an extraordinary setting, and has tee times available
