Lots of crossover appeal that all handicaps will find playable

Most manufacturers deliver new driver models as quickly as possible. But Bobby
Jones’ chief designer, Jesse Ortiz, is the Paul Masson of clubmakers: He will
sell no driver before its time. After several years in development, the Workshop
Edition driver should help extend the company’s presence beyond its popular
hybrids.
Like many drivers with high moments of inertia, the composite head
is shaped like a triangle, but without the muted impact sound of many
multi-material drivers. After testers got used to the shape, they were pleased
by the performance. “I rarely missed a fairway, even with poor swings,” says a
16. “The only time I left the fairway was to get a beer from the cart girl.”
